Soft spot for slippers...

Working from home you need to feel comfortable and I found these to slouch around in keeping my toes toasty warm... now I LOVE sausage dogs/dachshunds and I was going to get one before deciding that a cat would suit my lifestyle a bit more...should I purchase the dog slippers in honour of that or the kitten ones in honour of Finley...decisions, decisions...if you decide you can find them on the brilliant shoe site www.riftshoes.com

Friday's thought...

I love these community service announcements - much nicer than 'news alerts'. I'm going to start doing one a week for you, but if you can't wait that long check out the Jeremyville site...
Have a swell weekend

I love Pamela Loves!

WOW! I'm an absolute sucker for jewellery trends - although some of these are from a/w 10 they are still worth featuring as they're stunning...
I want them all...

Stamp your heart out!

Checking out some stamps to decorate some boxes at home - look closely - some of them are so beautiful and/cool - art in themselves!

Bin bling

OK so I saw this pic on emmas design blog and as I'm searching a for a slightly different bin for my office my eye was drawn to the one in this picture... yes I know that tiny bits of rubbish may fall out and be impractical but maybe I'll have to be careful with it - I've seen it, I want it, I must have it!
Here's some more I've found!

Sourcing outdoor wedding party lights!

Well I'm helping a friend source some ideas for lighting up the outside of the castle that she's getting married in this March... we've got the usual flamed torches up the driveway to it but I've put together this selection of examples for her and thought you might like them too!
I live in an apartment and sadly don't have the need for them right now but hopefully one day when I have some outdoor space Cox and Cox's sales are going to rise!

January loves...

Well it's the first time this year that I've ventured onto my FAVOURITE site, Rockett St George, and I'm pleased to show you some of the things that tickled my fancy....enjoy!

Each one of these corks is 3cm wide so it really is such an effective trivet - best use of corkage I've seen in a while...

LOVE these alphabet cushions from Elsie Dodds - this one's 'C' for me!

OK so every now and then I treat myself to a new tea towel - my flatmate thinks I'm sad but my opinion is that if you're going to purchase something anyway you may as well make it cool and fun. Quite frankly there's a few on the site that I could and probably will frame one day...wow I really do love tea towels!!

Thought this lovely billowing skirt was beautifully portrayed by Magpie Belle...

Seletti - another example of an everyday object with added style - life is what you make it peeps...

My favourite flower is the rose so this beautifully carved bone necklace couldn't go unmentioned...

Bundle of crazy cute fun - Finley!

I'd like to introduce Finley to you! He's the reason I've been away from my blogging desk - I'm either curled up with a good book with him or playing throw and catch with a ball with him.
He's a Norwegian Forest cat and at only 15 weeks I already think he's quite big! Reckon he's an Olympic jumper... going to keep me on my toes that's for sure : )
